ABOUT

About me

I come from a line of Jarrow shipwrights and boatbuilders, whose ethos of quality craftsmanship was all around me from an early age.

My grandfather was a master joiner, whose tools have been passed through my father's hands and in to mine.

My father was an engineer and enthusiastic owner of pre-war cars, one of which is now in my ownership.

I use as traditional approach to my work as time will allow, to recreate the handmade feel of cars from the 1920's and 1930's.

I prefer to work closely with customers throughout the process so that quality and budgets are monitored. Lots of tea is consumed along the way!

I have a range of other craftsmen I can call on to tackle most aspects of a restoration.
